The new house is SO CLOSE to being done! Corban is putting the house in town on the market, so today "we" are actually moving some of mom and Ron's things out of the house in town and putting here on this property in anticipation for moving "soon". Here is a video I shot a few minutes ago :) I first shared the new asparagus patch ... the video is a bit raw, so I hope y'all don't get motion sickness!
The gardens are all looking great. Early greens, radish, and asparagus are all being harvested right now. Strawberries are really flowering and we should be harvesting them beginning next month. Potato plants are getting taller. Dahlia tubers are fixin' to be planted this upcoming week. Some of us have our green beans already planted (Tylor & Molly), and others of us are getting them in this upcoming week. I'm going to see if Corban can till me up a small spot just for my sweet potatoes so I don't have to figure out how to squeeze them in to my existing garden space. I have been cultivating my sweet potato starts, however I'm not sure I'll have enough by the time it's time to plant them, so I might either get some from Brian, or buy some extras. We'll see. I am also going to start all the rest of the seeds inside - whatever will be planted outside next week. Squashes, melons, cucumbers, etc.
