Yeah, we are still here!

Hello to all! Sorry I think I’ve broke the record this time for how long it’s taken me to post again. We are all doing just fine. Staying busy. Summer time is full of extra work for those of us that do Gardens along with normal working jobs and taking care of families. With the babies and baby to be, and family and friends in need, we stay pretty busy! There has been several birthday since the last time I posted. Elvia is now a three-year-old, Corban, Cory and I are getting closer to 30 but not as close as Tylor! My husband is leaving 40 behind and heading towards mid 40s now… in other words, everyone’s getting older, but nobody is old yet! Even if some days we feel like it.

Brian has a friend that he met 20 years ago in Nicaragua who is here for a visit. Brian knew him back when he was six or seven years old and taught him his ABCs and how to read and write, and now 20 years later he is a very nice young man and fun to have around. So if you notice him in the pictures that’s who it is!

Enjoy the random assortment of photos from the last month and the captions. Although the photos will not be an any particular order, hopefully the captions will be at attached to the proper photo😅

Maikel helping them harvest some corn to show them how to make a type of tamale.

The children showing mom their bird pictures they painted her for her birthday

He always has a lot to say and isn’t afraid to say it!

Story time with Papa can be quite captivating!

Grandma Kathie giving Elvia a couple of goodies for her birthday

It is always a big highlight to our day when uncle Cory shows up on his way home from work!

He does a lot of this nowadays, but not usually when I have my phone in my hand.

Mom brought her flowers for her birthday

Grandpa Ron is always so sweet to sit and spend time playing with Elvia when she comes over

Elvia was quite enthralled with daddy taking the time to get Louisa all dressed up for the day

Roaring River Spring

A candid moment of my son lost in thought

Had to capture a picture of the two of them matching. Steven thinks Maikel is just the greatest thing

In the month of July, we had some good friends of Cory‘s over for dinner.

One of Cory‘s birthday presents was a pair of chicken socks. Lol!

He also entertained the children by driving around on their tiny car (he was SUPER TIRED!)

❤️ lovely sisters ❤️

Consider it an honor when Elvia has you babysit her doll

Elvia made mom a apple pie for her birthday

For some reason Elvia thought she had to have a monkey on her cake for her birthday… I did the best I could with no supplies and a three-year-old helping😂

If you remember the picture from earlier Elvia was sitting on the other side of the table… In this photo she had decided she wasn’t close enough to grandpa Ron and had scoot her chair as close to him as possible😍🥰

A wooden toybox that Brian‘s grandfather made is now a toy at our house.

Four wheeler ride with uncle Corban…

Had to include this photo. No, he did not spank her, he was just teasing her saying she was gonna get birthday spankings. Everyone was cracking up laughing including her.

OK I guess that’s it for now. Hopefully the next posts won’t be so few and far between! Love sent to all. God bless, Brianna
