Hello to all from the Gray household! Yes, I'm still alive, just have been super busy these last few weeks. Excited to share about Brian's recent adventures but first, the Cliftons' visit.
For those of you who don't know, we've known the Clifton family for over 20 years. Sadly, the children lost their mother just under 7 years ago to breast cancer. we continue to be very close with her children, Tirzah, Malachi and Nathaniel, and visit as often as we can. So, last weekend they made the time to come visit us (yay!). They have an aunt in KS who usually comes too, (like i said, we are pretty close) but she wasn't able to make it this time.
One night after dinner, we got the games out. It was super fun watching Cory learn Dutch blitz. We all got some good laughs! Especially when we persuaded Olen to read the Dutch blitz poem in his authentic Dutch accent.
On the other end of the table we started playing UNO with some interesting house rules Olen introduced.
Uncle Tylor and Aunt Molly are always sure the children feel included.
Uncle Olen and Auntie Areli played memory with little David
Mom had to step in and remind them how it’s done, we hadn’t played in awhile.

He was not impressed with all the photo taking after a long day at work.😂
Uncle Malachi totally won the kiddos over with books and Rubik’s cube demos
Yep, even got the boys to wash dishes 🎉
What a sweet girl! She kept the baby happy FOREVER while I was preparing dinner.

And stopped by the shop too!
Mom reminding the Cliftons they are all welcome anytime and telling them they need to move here. And to that I say Amen!
