Hymn sing, a beet box, & homestead projects - 3 videos

This post is a mix of Brianna & Joanne :)

First, Brianna:
So we try to get together as a family every Wednesday night and often we’ll  pull out some hymn books  afterwards and sing a few songs. Half of us are currently getting over cold‘s so we don’t sound just perfect or anything but we still enjoy making a joyful noise together as a family! Here is the second line to “higher Ground”. Sung in a more “fancy” version which we all enjoy...

And then there’s Steven. Little David was playing with an empty box the other day and discovered that Steven was quite enthralled with it. So little David would run around the house and then stop and put the box on Steven‘s belly and Steven would start kicking his legs and waving his arms really fast. Turns out he has a thing for beet boxes 😂

Now Joanne: First I just have to say ... "beet box" came off as "beatbox" whenever Brianna was telling me about it on the phone. The joys of being a visual thinker had me imagining all sorts of things that just did not make sense. If anyone ever notices a strange and/or confusing and/or puzzled look on my face when you are talking to me ... OR of you ever notice me cracking up or smirking at inappropriate times ... it's because I'm trying to sift through all of the totally wrong images in my mind in order to make sense of what is actually being said ;)

Today the cement trucks have been rolling in and out all morning, and Corban was out there working by 6 (maybe earlier?). The shop lean-to and the new house are getting cement poured :) YAY! Last week I did not get documentation of the insulation getting blown in, but there was quite the crew here all day for that ... the barn lean-to, the shop lean-to, and the new house all got insulated (the latter two were insulated on the ground only).  PROGRESS!!
Well ... I guess my little video was too long to post here, so I'll just post it in private on yt and embed it.
