This morning I noticed several American Goldfinches enjoying the echinacea seeds, and I thought to share a few things here with you all.
Although it can be very tempting to cut back the flowers once they die, LEAVE THEM! Smaller birds really enjoy the seeds. Another reason I like to leave them is that it makes it easier for me to know where certain things are. I have a general idea, but sometimes it's helpful to know specifics.
I also share a quick clip of some of the cows and goats (you hear the chickens making all sorts of noise in the background), some flowers, and a few critters. It's a very short video ... I hope it's worth 2 minutes of your time.
I have one more post in mind that I'll share soon: my carrot cake recipe. Tylor turned 30 a few days ago (YES, 30 ... GEEEEEESH), and I used to make him this carrot cake every year as a treat. It's always a hit!
Until next time, I pray you all are well. j
